My role is to be your guide and coach in search of the best solution for your particular problem. The goal is for you to develop your coping skills and learn how to manage your thoughts and feelings so that you will be able to make the changes necessary to resolve your problem.  Having had specialized training in family therapy, I have the skills to work within the family system to address conflict, children's behaviors in the family and in school, communication difficulties and issues of trust in relationships.  I also have had specialized training and experience in assessment and treatment of addictions as well as the impact of substance abuse on family members.
